Dan Bentley brings over five decades of hands‑on aviation expertise. With 41 years as an A&P mechanic and 26 years as an IA. He founded the company in 2003 out of a single‑bay hangar, driven by his passion for precision maintenance and a commitment to honest, reliable service, Dan takes pride in every detail ensuring each aircraft leaves the hangar ready for its next flight. in 2016 and 2019, he welcomed his two children, Garrett and Skyler, into the business, mentoring them in both the shop floor and customer relations. Today, their combined talents help carry on Dan’s legacy, blending time‑tested skills with fresh ideas to keep Bentley Aviation at the forefront of safety and innovation.

Garrett joined Bentley Aviation in 2016 while in high‐school, and his passion for aircraft only grew from there. After graduation, he earned his A&P certification at MVCC and has now amassed nearly ten years of hands‑on experience, five of them as a fully licensed A&P mechanic. Garrett is currently pursuing his IA authorization and has begun advanced training in avionics, positioning himself to maintain both the mechanical and electronic heart of today’s aircraft.

Skyler joined Bentley Aviation in 2019, while in high school. Since then, he has gained hands on experience in general aviation maintenance and inspection while actively pursuing his A&P certification. Skyler has developed strong skills in troubleshooting, repair, and assisting with annual inspections, and continues to expand his knowledge through both formal training and practical shop experience.
